Nothing is more important to me than my faith, family, and friends. On a daily basis I strive to be the best father and husband possible.

My beautiful wife, Michelle, and I are proud parents of our son, Carsten. We enjoy traveling with friends and spending as much time as we can with our ever-changing son. Carsten is a typical two-year-old boy. He loves building (and subsequently smashing) things, “reading” books, wrestling with dad, and baking with mom.

I have a passion for working with my clients. I believe in using my financial planning expertise to simplify complex topics to help my clients gain understanding of their situation. My education-first style helps my clients to fully understand the reason why a strategy makes sense prior to implementation. Regardless of your style, from do-it-yourselfer to delegator, I am able to guide you through making financially wise decisions.

Prior to founding NewLeaf Financial Guidance LLC, I spent the first eight years of my career working for the largest financial planning company in the United States. I held positions in customer service, financial planning sales consulting, product management, and finally as a financial advisor. My experience has proved invaluable as I have worked with clients from all walks of life.
